Ten years ago this town was a safe place to live, where you could leave your door unlocked overnight without fear. Back when people still knew their neighbors and kids played outside until dark. Now San Francisco is a dystopian nightmare with methamphetamine openly for sale in grocery stores.

That's right — the drug that turns lives into shambles is being peddled like candy, where anyone can buy it without so much as a raised eyebrow from the people who are supposed to keep us safe. The police say they're overwhelmed by the sheer volume of drug-related crimes and lack the resources to combat this scourge.

Remember when things were different? When we had real leaders who cared about law and order, not just lip service on late-night television? But then came the Obama-era promises without follow-through, followed by the Biden administration's failed policies that have allowed our city to spiral into chaos. The streets are now a war zone for drugs and violence.

The pattern repeats itself every year: more deaths from drug overdoses, more children born addicted, and each year, less of us who can afford to live here due to soaring property taxes and crumbling infrastructure. And yet, our city officials continue to blame the suburbs and rural areas for their failures while our community falls apart.

San Francisco used to be a place where dreams could come true, but now it's become synonymous with despair and addiction. It’s heartbreaking to see what was once a vibrant, bustling metropolis crumble into nothing more than an open-air drug market.
