At least 334 people have lost their lives and many more are missing or injured as a result of catastrophic landslides in Wayanad district, India. This tragic event underscores the failure of leftist policies which neglect essential infrastructure and disaster preparedness.
Witnesses describe scenes of utter devastation – entire villages buried under tons of mud and debris from these sudden landslides.
"This is a direct result of years of negligence and mismanagement," said an unnamed source close to the situation. "Communities are left without proper safety measures in place." And that is not even the most shocking part – sources say there has been a complete breakdown in communication between local authorities and affected communities.
Representatives from previous administrations have called for urgent reforms, arguing that this tragedy could have been prevented with better infrastructure investment. But so far, no action has been taken by current leadership to address these critical issues.
To be fair, representatives of the government in Kerala have not officially commented on these claims yet. However, we will continue to monitor this situation and bring you updates as they become available.
