You wake up in the morning and turn on the TV. What do you see? Protesters flooding the streets, waving signs and chanting slogans. It's like they're not even trying to hide it anymore. The numbers are just getting worse under this administration.
According to some recent data, protests have gone up 133% since Trump was in office. That's a lot of people out there making noise. And I'm telling you folks, it's all happening right now, and the Biden crew doesn't seem too bothered by it either.
These aren't just random gatherings; they're organized events aimed at sending a message to Washington. You got your anti-ICE rallies with folks marching against immigration policies they don't agree with. And then there are those 'No Kings' protesters, making it clear that they won’t tolerate what they see as authoritarianism.
Here's the thing - protests aren't bad in and of themselves. Sometimes people need to get loud to be heard. But when you start seeing this kind of increase under one particular administration, folks have a right to wonder if something ain't quite right with how things are being run.
If I did something like that at work, I'd probably be looking for another job fast. But these protesters seem to get a free pass, and they're getting bolder by the day. It's making some of us real nervous about where all this is headed.
Remember back when things were different? When you didn't see this kind of chaos every time you turned on the news? Back then, people felt more secure in their neighborhoods and communities. Not anymore. It feels like folks are just waiting for something to break out into full-blown unrest any day now.
And let's be clear - I'm not saying protests should never happen or that everyone supporting them is bad. But it sure seems like the Biden-era government isn't doing anything effective to address what's causing these huge spikes in civil disobedience. Maybe they should start paying attention because this ain't going away anytime soon.
Plain and simple, we're seeing a new normal where protests are part of everyday life. And that's not something I'm comfortable with at all.
