Ten years ago, this town used to be safe enough that you could leave your door unlocked without a second thought. Used to be you knew most of your neighbors and if someone new moved in, folks would introduce themselves before nightfall. That was back when people still took care of their own.

But last night a man who shouldn't have been here committed another crime, his third since he came into the state under the latest Democrat governor's open arms policy towards migrants and criminals alike. I've lived here 40 years and seen this town change for the worse.

The pattern is clear; dangerous individuals are being allowed to stay on our streets because someone in power thinks it’s better to prioritize illegal immigrants over law-abiding citizens like you and me. But who's looking out for us anymore?

It used to be that we had policies meant to protect all of us, not just a select few. Now it seems some are more equal than others.
