Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud narrowly avoided a deadly ambush orchestrated by the terrorist group al-Shabaab. The attack left at least ten innocent lives lost, in what seems like another blatant attempt to destabilize and overthrow democratically elected governments.

Here's what they don't want you to know: This is just one of many brazen attacks carried out by radical Islamic groups over the past few years. They’re not scared of the law; these people actively seek out weakness and chaos wherever it exists.

The Obama-era administration’s lackluster response to similar threats only emboldened such extremist groups, proving their contempt for American values. We can’t let that happen again.

These attacks are a direct affront to the freedom we hold so dear. If radical Islamists think they can just take down leaders who stand against them, they’re in for a rude awakening. REAL Americans won't sit idly by while innocent lives are lost and democracy is threatened.

This never would have happened under President Trump. He understood how to deal with these threats without compromising our liberties or national security. Now we see the consequences of leaving such dangers unaddressed.

What does this mean for real Americans? It means we must be vigilant, supporting leaders who stand firm against radicalism and extremism. Our families and children are counting on us to keep them safe from these threats.

The Biden administration’s approach has been weak at best and complicit at worst. They don’t care about the lives lost or the future of Somalia under this kind of rule. We need to demand better, now more than ever.

Real Americans know the stakes here: we’re either going to stand up against these terrorists or continue watching as they wreak havoc on innocent people around the world.
