When the CDC announced their latest vaccine mandate for small business employees, I was just like everyone else: skeptical but hopeful it would work out somehow.

This mandate is nothing but another way for the Biden-era administration to bully us into compliance. When you look at how local businesses are already struggling under the weight of so many unnecessary regulations, it's heartbreaking.

"I'm running a small business here," one owner told me, "not a government office. This mandate could cost my shop thousands. I don't think we can survive that."

The CDC says they're doing this to protect public health, but let's be real -- we've been down this road before with other "safety measures" that turned out to be more about control than care.
